Dia de Muertos

Photography Workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico

Join photographers Marko Jokic and Angel Santibañez for a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico during Day of the Dead. Our goal is to provide a photographic experience that is not only instructive, but culturally rich. Through our insider knowledge and connections, participants will have access to various intimate photo sessions with local artisans, models, and designers. Additionally we will have presentations by local photographers and some tourist must-sees.

Marko Jokic is a New York based photographer with a focus on documentary, portraiture, and travel photography. He is one of the founders of Back To The Lab and is one of the directors of Camera of the Month Club. Marko lived and worked in Mexico for 5 years and continues to travel to Oaxaca regularly to work on his personal projects and maintain a close connection to the photographic community.

Angel Santibañez is a native Oaxacan who has run his family's photography business from a young age. He teaches photography workshops throughout Mexico and his photography store provides services such as fine art printing, high resolution negative scanning, and color film processing.
